Making a Will is an important part of planning for the future. After you have provided for loved ones, you may then consider including the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association – Newfoundland and Labrador (CHHA-NL) as a beneficiary.

Many people leave bequests to CHHA – NL in their Will, and over the years, these contributions large and small, have contributed significantly to our work. By leaving a lasting legacy, your gift will enable us to assist people who are hard of hearing or late deafened to lead independent and fulfilling lives. It is one way of making a positive difference beyond your lifetime.

If you have already made a Will, perhaps you could consider asking your solicitor to add a codicil, which will incorporate your gift to the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association – Newfoundland and Labrador.

We understand that making a Will is a very personal matter.  However, if you do intend to make the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association – Newfoundland and Labrador one of your beneficiaries, or, if you have already done so, we invite you to let us know.

As well as being an important part of our future planning, it also gives us an opportunity to acknowledge and recognize your generosity, and to discuss your wishes.  Any information provided will be held in the strictest confidence.
