Speak-Off
SPEAK OFF
During May (Better Hearing and Speech Month) we are pleased to invite Hard of Hearing Students in the Eastern School Board Region (Avalon East and West) to participate in the Annual Dr. Norah Browne Speak-Off.

The Dr. Norah Browne Speak Off is open to hard of hearing, late-deafened or oral deaf students from grades five to twelve.
The 3 award categories are as follows:
Category 1 – Grades five and six
Category 2 – Grades seven to nine
Category 3 – Grades ten to twelve
Each speaker will have 2-4 minutes to speak on a topic they have chosen. There will be a panel of judges to choose the winner, and each participant will receive a $25 Avalon Mall Gift Card and medal. The winner of each category will receive a plaque as well as a Cash Prize.
