Hearing Aid Practitioner (HAP):
- Trained to evaluate hearing and prescribe and fit hearing aid technology.
- Have completed a minimum two-year course of study and apprenticeship in hearing evaluation and hearing aid dispensing and must pass a practical exam.
- Are licensed through the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador under the Hearing Aid Practitioners Board of Newfoundland and Labrador.
